Will You Turn Up Your PC Speakers for Net Audio Ads?
I wanted to jump in late December early January to tell you about this new form of Contextual Advertising know as Pay Per Play or Net Audio Ads or both. However, there was so much controversy that I held off till all the points were aired… in text that is not aurally:-)
It seems this new media is causing some people to rebel and denounce it saying, “Net Audio Ads will annoy my visitors and they won’t come back!”
While that may be true for certain people it has been repeatedly said by the Pay Per Play Marketing Director “Charles Heflin” of SEO2020.com that the audio ads network has actually been testing these ads for approximately 2 1/2years and the “dropout ” rate from test websites were very minimal…therefore proving that Audio Ads weren’t a problem.
The next complaints came from former affiliates to the company running the program Voice2Page…who had issues with their affiliates. To explain this better than myself, I have produced a copy of a comment made by Charles Heflin himself :
QUOTE by Charles Heflin:
PPP is a new opportunity and is different from a program that NetAudioAds promoted a few years back… This is not the same program.
If the company doesn’t pay then PPP will fall faster than it climbed. The PPP publishers made the program what it is and if they don’t pay then they won’t have a product to sell to advertisers because all their publishers will jump ship.
One of the many reasons I agreed to head the marketing is because of the vulnerability of their position despite their history. In other words, it would be foolish for NetAudioAds to give up millions of dollars in recurring monthly income as a sacrifice in favor of not paying publishers their commissions. I take comfort in this.
I am just a marketer for the product like you… PPP is just one of many projects I am involved in. If they fail to pay then I could easily turn the PPP forum into a class action forum. They know it and I know it… So in a way I offer a cushion of safety against such a non-payment scenario occurring.
I hope any PPP affiliate that reads this understands that without you, there would be no PPP so if NetAudioAds fails to pay then they will be out of business and into to class action so fast it will make your head spin.
:ENDQUOTE
That was the comment that made sense and reassured me of what I believed back in December.
What people need to realise is that the world constantly evolves and progress happens in many different shapes and forms.
Television Ads are getting “killed” by DVR’s (digital video recorders) and viewers taking a trip to the bathroom or kitchen for drinks during commercial breaks. The advertisers are trying to regain the consumers they had back in the 70’s and 80’s…who had no choice but to listen to the ads and sing along with the slogans, (I admit some were quite good!).
Where are the Consumers of TV ADS?
On the Internet surfing, shopping online, chatting, socializing, learning and earning, that’s where!
You know it’s true, so where do TV Advertisers need to advertise?
That’s right…on Websites. that includes Blogs like this, social networks that allow audio ads, personal, business, info, radio, video websites. In fact anywhere where people are happy to let a short 5 second Audio Ad play without flipping their lid and clicking off to some other site.
My advice, if you think this medium will take off, then join it now and ADD, not replace, but ADD Audio Ads to whatever kind of monetization you have on your website. Then you can become a core partner for life and bring in the other 108 Billion websites out there who also want to ADD to their incomes.
The cut off for becoming a core partner is 1st. February 2008. After that date you can continue to add website owners to your group.
You get 25% of ads played on your site, then as a thank you for introducing other websites you get 5% of their websites plays. That 5% by the way is what the advertiser pays…NOT 5% of Their 25%…ok. Oh and you also get 5% of the people they bring into the program too.
All in all it’s a brand new way to earn a set and forget residual income, from your website and the websites of those you introduce.
The people who don’t like it, won’t sign up, and will probably turn their PC or MAC speakers OFF!
Well there you have it, I told you, now you can decide if it’s for you.
